What is the UPF? Sunlight is a source of ultraviolet radiation. Burnt skin is a result of excessive exposure to the sun. UV exposure over a long period of time can cause serious health problems such as skin cancer and cataracts. Clothing designed to shield you from the sun will reduce your exposure to UV rays. Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a fabric provides adequate sun protection. The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how well a fabric protects your skin from UV rays and can be used as a guide when selecting sun-protective clothing. Ensure that you wear a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and use shaded outdoor spaces to protect other parts of your body. The UPF rating ranges from 15 to 50. Fabrics with a rating greater than 50 are referred to as UPF 50+.

Mesh fabrics strategically placed throughout the garment allow body heat to escape.

They are designed with a fabric that draws moisture from the body towards the quick-dry surface, leaving the wearer fresh, comfortable, and dry.

Contrary to traditional corporate clothing, JB’s Wear collection offers the quality, style and versatility you would expect from a personal wardrobe.
